This past weekend, my family and I visited the TopGolf Swing Suite at the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco. You may have caught our visit on my Instagram page! It was a great experience, and I’m here to tell you more about it! Whether you have friends and family in town and need some entertainment, or just want to spend some quality time with those around you, the Top Golf Swing Suite is such a fun way to go!
*This visit was hosted by the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco. All opinions and experiences written here are my own.*
You do not need to be a guest at the hotel in order to rent out the swing suite. My family drove to the hotel from our home, went to the bar to check in, and they led us to the TopGolf room. We wore masks while walking through the hotel and interacting with staff. When we got to the play room we were secluded and safe to go mask-free. It was refreshing to not have to wear our masks the whole time!
Before we attended, I read a few reviews. One negative review said something about the room having no ambiance, and it just being a random room in the hotel. They must have updated some things since that review was written because that was not what we experienced! With that review in mind, I was almost bracing myself for an awkward set up, but ended up being very pleasantly surprised when we walked in to the room! Not only was it clean and organized, but it was very inviting and comfortable while maintaining a professional atmosphere. They even had a way to connect your phone to the room’s speakers in order to choose the music playing!
My kids could hardly wait to start the games. There were lots of options as far as games to play. It isn’t just TopGolf offered in this room. They also have games that involve hockey, football, soccer, baseball, and dodgeball. We were very impressed by the technology and ease of use! My boys kind of flew through all the games, wanting to check them all out, before deciding which game to compete in. I think baseball and dodgeball ended up being our favorites!
About fifteen minutes in, we went to the bar to order food . They have plenty of options ranging from group appetizers to classy dinners. With my boys being young and wanting to play more than eat, we decided to go with a variety of appetizers to share. The chips, fries and onion dip were so good, and the tacos were delicious! I want to go back and order them right now just thinking about it!
Our hour at the suite passed quickly! My six year old was not happy to leave and made us promise to come back. My husband and I kept talking about how fun it would be to bring friends and family along with us next time. The room could comfortably seat 12 people, but I think 6-8 people would be ideal. Click here to reserve your time on Open Table, or call the hotel to reserve a time for bigger groups. Let me know if you have any more questions!
