Texas Tulips Maternity Pictures

Karissa, from Karissa Lee Photos, told me she was interested in taking maternity photos for me. I had been wanting to see the Texas Tulips, and suggested going up to Pilot Point for pictures. Luckily, Karissa was on board. We were having major car troubles this month, so Karissa actually picked up Owen and me, and drove us up to the tulips. Talk about a good sport!

Family Trip to San Antonio

We were so excited to have my in-laws fly in to Dallas to spend Thanksgiving with us this year! They suggested taking a weekend trip together so we could all see something new. We figured San Antonio would be a fun and easy family getaway. If you are travelling to San Antonio soon, keep reading for ideas on what to do! This itinerary will apply to anyone, but will be especially helpful if you have little kids!

I grew up in Salt Lake City and fell in love with the mountains! After college, I filled my free time with hiking, camping, and exploring Utah! When I became a mom, I loved taking my baby on outdoor adventures with me!

Soon after becoming a mom, we moved to Dallas, Texas, where there are no mountains! While living in Dallas we welcomed two more children into our family! I’m now a mom of three boys. After six years of living in Dallas, we are back in Utah!

Living in Dallas taught me to embrace the city life! I’ve learned that there is so much fun and adventure to be found everywhere, whether you’re in the mountains, the city, or somewhere in between!

I’m all about family adventures, big and small, and I share the details of our adventures here on this blog in hopes to inspire and prepare you for adventures as well!
